My name is Jacob, and I have had a hard on for an XB since they were introduced. I'm a 22 year old semi-pro Offroad/Motocross racer, and I've finally saved up enough money to buy my first Buell. Today I picked up an 05 XB12R with 15k miles for $1500 plus my 2002 XR650L which I valued at $2500.
The first thing I need to do to the bike is get the OEM tag holder, because here in FL you can get a $1000 fine for the hidden tags. I am the kind of guy that is capable to do small repairs myself, but usually end up paying a pro, because nothing goes right when I try to do it.
How hard is switching the tag mounts back to OEM? I will have to take a pic to show what my current set up is, and then start a thread if there isn't one already.
