Jap bikers envy

yesterday afternoon I was riding arround town and two guys on new jap bikes (an R6 and a 1000RR)pulled up next to me in traffic, we talked for a bit and left when the light turned green. At the next light the guy on the 1000RR asked me the dumbest question "how can I get my exhaust to sound like that?" I just laughed and told him to get a buell.

I went to a local bike shop the other day and some of the sales guys went out and were looking at my bike while I was inside. When I came out they were asking me all kinds of questions about the bike and telling me how awesome it is. They were totally jealous. We all exchanged numbers and they said they wanted to go for a ride together.
I've always thought those jap bike guys were allergic to american muscle or something.

A while back, someone said they raced a ninja 636, and then some hilarious person replied with "Did it sound like a swarm of angry bees was chasing you?" I dont think we had rep points then, but if I knew who said that, they would get a rep point from me, because that was the best description of a jap bike I have ever heard.

I get a bit of grief for the fan noise after a ride from my jap bike riding buddies. But its all in fun. Other than that everyone I see has been nothing but admiring of the XB.

I think we have all had something like that happen. So many guys tell me they love the sound of my bike, (xb9r with the buell race kit). Nothing sounds like it, when roaring down the road. I will always be riding Buell.
