Does anyone has a set of the brackets that want to sell or at least lend it to me so I can fab a new set. My had a Jardine when I purchase and would like to mount the lower chin, have contacted Jardine about three times, left message without a reply, even my local dealer made a call and left a voice mail without response. If you would lend it to me I can fab a set I'll pay for shipping and a deposit if anyone want. Please let me know. Thanks...........PETE

You can get brackets very similar to the Jardine, actually better quality from KD Fab (Guy that makes the Drummer exhaust) for $75.

Plus, kevin's brackets won't point the chin fairing at the ground like the Jardine (which I think looks ridiculous).

The Jardine points the fairing just like stock. It looks like its pointed down because the huge stock muffler is missing and the Jardine doesn't hand down as far. It's an optical illusion.

Huh, whaddaya know!

I just stared at a couple of Buell pics (one with Jardine, one with stock) for a minute in disbelief! :p

....just another reason I don't like the Jardine I guess- it looks silly to me!

To each their own.

I agree but I love the sound. I just cut and welded a stainless 4 inch oversized tip on mine. Looks much better.

Anybody had a set of the KDFab brackets fail?

Not throwing stones, it's just that I've read that both KD and Jardine's brackets fatigue and crack from the vibrations.

I have the KDab brackets and they are fine so far. I havent put a ton of miles on them but they seem to be fairly beefy to me.

Send me your address and I`ll mail you the brackets for free (cost of shipping).

Cheers :)

The old style brackets used to crack and brake. There's additional attachment points in the newer brackets and they are fine.
