Jardine newb question

sorry about my ignorance, but, if i put a jardine "slip on" on, would i have to get new mapping or will it run fine?

i have a 2008 xb12ss

after you put on the pipe start the bike let it warm up don't blip the throttle at all then go for a noce easy ride don't get on it at all keep the rpms around 3.5 to 4k it will run a little rough til the ecm re-learns the a/f ratio

i put my new jardine muffler on last night. started it up to check for leaks and awesome!!!! got ready to leave the next morning for work. bike tried to start then died. thought i ran out of gas. filled up and still just turns over. any ideas. harley said i may have flooded the bike out.
