Just a fyi for anyone that didn't know, jardine was sold by Doug Thorley headers/Summit racing a week ago or so. They are in the process of moving all of the inventory to Ohio from Corona CA. Jardine was purchased by Supertrapp/Kerker. I needed another set of brackets for a pipe, possibly a few more but this is what I got for the lead time.

Dean,

The trucks are rolling into Cleveland; however I see the earliest shipping for ANY Jardine Products is most likely at least two weeks out.

By that email, I'd almost expect a longer delay than 2 weeks, probably 4+ weeks before they get the inventory sorted and priced. They did quote me for a set of brackets, I will not be able to sell them for $80 as a set any longer. Getting them shipped to me is $82, then paypal takes their fee as well when I get an order for a set. If I continue playing the middle man here, the price will go up a little. I do have an accurate parts list of the bracket kit now.

I go to cleveland every two weeks. Could they be picked up and shipped to you via USPS for way less in a flat rate box?

I originally got the first 6 or 7 sets for $75 shipped, paypal took their cut, so I didn't make anything on them as it was since I've been selling them at $80 a set. Now, it's even more, I think their shipping quote was $15, so shipped via USPS would probably be cheaper unless you have to pay sales tax on a local purchase.

Oh I see. I thought you said the shipping was going to be $82. My idea is now irrelevant.

Another update on this. I ordered a set of brackets back in mid-September. That's when I found out that they'd been sold, moving, etc. At the 40+ day mark, I sent an email asking when the brackets might ship. The reply.

Inventory is still being unpacked and counted, it may still be weeks away.

I won't be buying these as a service to make it one stop shopping any longer. The brackets do work with what I make, but it's not really worth the hassle to me.

I got a set from Drummer for $85.00 shipped. they look better made than the jardine, imho. burley looking and the chin fairing attachment hardware is welded to the brackets. comes with a new bolt & nut for the front mount and new bolt for the one attaching to the primary cover on the left side also lock nuts for the 2 front screws on the chin fairing so there are no open holes. shipping was fast too[up]
