I've spent the last hour reading through a few dozen LED headlight threads, as well as my last experience with HIDs on my previous bike. Overwhelming folks tried the LED bulbs in our stock XB light housings, which normally wouldn't/shouldn't play well without a 360 degree light pattern. Yes, it's brighter but throws light around in an irregular pattern (pretty sure)
I came across these that advertise the following:
"The bulb's LED array is designed to mimic the filament in halogen bulbs—creating a closely matched beam style"
https://www.superbrightleds.com/veh...bulb?make=89&model=3590&scc_id=1943&year=2007
Has anyone tried these out on particular? They seem plug and play, but having a hard time picturing how w/o taking the housing apart (admittedly I havent look overall closely on instalability).
