LED turn signals

I got a set of 4 universal LED turn signals, but after installing the front two, they blinked much faster, and when installing the rears as well, they just stayed on constantly and the bike made a buzzing noise.

Obviously there's some issue with the resistance in the relays or something like that (I don't know crap about electrics). Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Replace the flasher with an EP-36 flasher from your local parts store. About $12[up]

It should say LED on it too. You can get it at NAPA, Autozone, Pep Boys, Discount Auto, etc

Idk but I've got an EP-36 LED relay on mine, and my LED's flash just right. The relay is actually much louder than the stock one. It sounds like there's like a mechanical switch on a timer inside of it.

FFFFFUUUUUUU

After searching all day for an auto parts store that carries it, the best I could find is an EP-36 that was not rated for LED's (found that out after I plugged it in and tried it...)

Anyways, now I'm trying to just put some impedance in the line, but for some reason the blinkers won't work at all...I returned everything to stock, and checked all of the fuses, and for some reason they're completely dead. I hate electrics.

Have all of the stock lights back on, and bought a new flasher unit. The turn signals are still completely dead. I double/triple checked the fuses and all of the connections. I have no idea what's going on here. Anyone have a similar experience / advice?

I had the same problem. I got 2 sets of LED turn signals and a pair of flush mounts for an R1. With the stock relay, the 2 sets of LED blinkers would go too fast on one side and not work on the other for some reason. When I tried an LED with the flush mount on the side that worked, nothing happened.

Solution: bought an LED EP-36 relay online. Autozone and Pepboys only had the standard EP-36. Manual says there's no way to repair it. If it doesn't work, replace it.

Yeah, that's the thing is I bought a replacement flasher and the turn signals just won't work.

Does it specifically say LED Flasher? I have a new EP-36 that I got at pepboys and it didn't work. The LED EP-36 I got online works and slowed down the fast flashes.

It didn't, and I realize that that's the problem with the LED's not working. But my issue now is that I can't even get the stock configuration to work (stock bulbs, stock flasher).

I used a current checker to see if the flasher was even getting any current at all, and there was nothing. I don't really know how the whole turn signal system works or where I should go from here.

Sorry for the double post, but it looks like I'm probably the most retarded person on the planet. After checking the fuses one more time, it turns out that the ACC fuse was blown...now the lights come on just fine. Argh, I hate electrics.
