I'm considering putting red LEDs under the tranlucent red airbox and flyscreen. Anyone done this? Any pics? I'd like to see if it's too tacky or not.

give it some time a couple guys on here have done it before. Looks pretty nice if your into the LEDS. Way better than typical jap leds

I plan on doing also, I found some flexible red led stripes from motosport for like 30 dollars each. They are like 9 inches long. All you will have to do is wire it straight to your battery and just put a toggle to turn on and off.

I would do LED stips on either side of the front windscreen and use them as blinkers. It would be really clean since you wouldnt see it and and functional as you would see the entire thing while lite.

What I've done with 2 strips in air box and 2 smaller ones in flyscreen

wicked![up] Love the strips. I have seen the other type but this looks much better

That looks really really sweet. So are there any pics on how you connected it to the battery and what switch you used?

just a simple two wire set up connected directly to battery with an inline fuse on both neg and positive for extra protection, and in the pic look under my seet in the top right corner of the opening can see my LED toggle switch which lights red aswell, and can see it glowing in secong pic, its a rather easy setup and the strips are just held in place with double side tape.

that looks awesome! got any pics of the front.
...would look cool with one of polkies see through timing covers and a led behind it.

Buell parts at the top of the page sells them for around 200 for the tank and 70 for the screen.

this is a front pic, high angle and poor focus doesn't do the lights justice, see about getting better ones later, and its on an 09 or else I'd already have one of polkies covers, thanks for the feed back tho glad you all like it so far.

How about a disco ball in there too!..haha!...no, seriously, looks cool:).. gotta watch out for all the gawking cagers on the road though!
