Yes, strange. I just sent him a question. I'll post what the response is.

Someone just recently posted the link to this ad. I think it was on the "want to trade my cbr100rr for Buell" thread.

the wording dosnt sound like its from nj
I'm in love with Buell, reason of selling,
with sport exhaust
asking this for me?
Bull Shit Ad, -1 "Feedback"... Thief from Nigeria!
[up]

Sounds fishy, and the ad says that the bike is in NJ but the it has PA plates?

common I found a Scg with 2300miles and had to get the guy to send picture of spring he had no idea
same thing with an TT with 1200 k both were bought in person though

Sick bike. Does anyone know anything about that tank bag or is it just a backpack??

That add has fraud written ALL over it! I like his -1 reputation and the weird english. [down]

If your close, tell him you wannna come check it out. I bought my bike off ebay and drove from NY to Minnesota to get it without seeing it first. very risky but worth it for me! I didnt even give him a down payment just showed up with cash!

I saw the feedback too but when you look there is no negative feedback. Most people are stupid, those who aren't stupid are ignorant. Some of my best ebay buys have been from people who have not known or misrepresented what they were selling out of ingorance.

I once bought a 1963 Ford Thunderbird Custom on fleabay that the owner thought had a 427 Side Oiler in it. He claimed the motor came stock in the car. It couldn't have for a few reasons but the result was the car sold for almost nothing for three reasons; the seller had low feedback, he didn't know the side oiler wasn't produced until 1966 and that the 427 never came from the factory in a Thunderbird.

As it turned out the car had a 1963 427 in it but it had side oiler heads. When I pulled the motor apart to freshen it it turned out they were ported and polished 1966 427 side oiler heads (he had taken the "engine numbers" off the heads not the block). In the end the heads were worth as much as I paid for the car but because people thought there some form of deception going on they didn't bid.

Don't argue with stupid, work with it to get what you want but never, never give people money you cannot get back (Cash on delivery or credit card).

I had a lot of fun with this car and in the end sold it for over 15x what I paid for it to a guy in Australia.
