License plate cleaned up

Re located it under the tail. Now just need to wire up a light. Are you guys just tapping the license plate light wiring into the brake light?

And got rid of the big catch can and just settled for this..

ehm... whats the fine for riding whitout licenseplate light ?

Here, the cops just say "fix your plate light" if they stop you, but thats all. They dont stop you just becose you dont have plate light, and definitely your not going to get ticket for it.

But, if you want light, they sell m6 bolts that has an LED light biuld inside, use 2 of those to fix the plates upper edge, and connect them to rear ligh.

Hmm, that's interesting. My Uly has (well, had) a license plate light on it already... But there should be a switched 12v conductor going to the tail light. I'd just tap into that for your light. (You don't want to use the brake light conductor)

What would be really nifty, drill a couple (3-4) small holes on the ridge behind the turn signal mounts, near the center of the bike, and glue a couple of white LED's in from the back.

Nice work on the license plate holder though. Looks clean.

As far as the fine, I'm sure it would just be a fix-it ticket. But I have been pulled over before for not having a license plate light before.

I run the same air filter for the re route. You are going to have to replace it every season, it gets pretty nasty.

As far as the plate, I dont run a light and my plate is tucked waaayyyyy up under.

If you aren't running passenger pegs, why not remove the mounts also? It really cleans the tail up.

Well I moved the re route again. ran it under my away so you can't see it. Looks way better
As for the passenger mounts, I took one off to see what it looked like and it looked too empty imo

I Taped up the inside of my brake light on the bottom licence plate window part and then painted it black on the outside and bought a small led light from cycle gear and just stuck it on the tail right before the license plate mount. Used the tail light/ license plate wire to power it. It looks pretty clean.
