...after reading various things about how Harley systematically screwed Erik Buell i just feel ticked off. My license plate frame is from the Harley dealership. It looks ok...but, given what HD did to Buell I'd rather have a Buell license plate frame or, even better, something that says HD sucks. Anyone know where I could find a Buell frame or something that tells HD to suck it?

polkiejoe...you should be able to fab something up?? not a bad idea actually

he does some custom timing covers/emblems out of high-grade plastic.

I like the cut of your jib 303 [up]

hows aboot some done up in the same colours as timing covers or the colour of your plastics and the kicker could be the words Buell Forever across the top with the words Harley NEVER! across the bottom

Polkie, are writing this down?
LOL
:D

I don't usually run plate frames, but I think I could get behind something along these lines. Buell Forever or Buell Pride along the top, and a subtle FHD at the bottom mebbe?

course if Harley riders are say about half as passionate about theirs rides as we are, You should get use to checking your front brake line before every ride

If I found a really nice frame, I'd get it. My dealer treated/treats me SO well that I really don't mind running his frame. I just wish it weren't chrome. For a non-Buell one, I like my One Less Car frame that I got from Aerostich for the BMW.

BuddhaBuell what does "I like the cut of your J.I.B." mean?? There's a lyric in a song by a band called the Libertines where they sing that. I've always wondered what that means!!

"Buell Forever, Harley Never" sounds great to me. I'm not afraid of any Sony Barger, Hell's Angel-dress-up wannabe ass clown.

I sincerely doubt some 65 year old beer bellied harley rider in assless chaps can take me on.

I'm not afraid of any Sony Barger

Than you're a fool. You may not need to fear him but as it turns out he has friends.

and this is coming from someone who lives in an Outlaw state.

BTW I'm not saying you need to live in fear but i would not make a habit out of mocking people w/ 1%er on their Cuts.

It's pretty easy to do.

Be respectful and keep Bottom rockers of your jacket. Especially if its a location. I would not want to run into a local Black and white with a bottom rocker reading "Chicago"

I'm kidding! jeeze. Hell, everybody fears them. But in seriousness--I'm totally kidding!
plus i'm saying the "wannabe" ones: The rich old guys. Of course the real ones are the scrariest people on earth. Any help extremelow?

Drkside79--but to be more clear--I work with some older guys who totally dress the "biker" part. They're super nice guys, but you know what I mean? They're like,...VPs of my company! not biker gang members. I'm poking fun at the VPs in my company not at actual biker gangs!! Hell no would I ever under any circumstance poke fun at the real deal!!! I'm not crazy. But even looking at it now, I'm not even into making fun of the posers either. To each their own and I'm not going to make another comment.

i know this thread was hijacked a while back, and i hate to partake, but are you guys joking? I personally have no desire to speak my mind through stickers or patches or words engraved on my bike, but if you feel like it...do it. I think its hilarious that people actually think a bunch of old wrinkles on slow bikes are threatening or intimidating in any way. They are normal people who just hangout and ride with others who have similar interests. Life is too short to worry about that stuff. Ride, wear what you want, write what you want...whatever happens happens.
