LIFT Question?!

ok i have a motorcycle lift but it is FLAT like most and i need it to lift my buell ive seen plans before to build a cradle to go ontop of it? (that holds the exhaust) where are they, or does anyone have an old unit they dont need?

Wish I had some pictures but what I did is I cut out the shape of the muffler from (2) 2x8's. Nailed them onto a 4x4 so that all I had to do was roll the bike up a small homemade ramp and back it onto this contraption that I'd made. It lifted the rear wheel off the ground so that I could remove the swingarm. The bike did want to lean to one side so I kept the kickstand down.
