Locking gas cap??

Hello,

I’m a new rider and the buell blast is my first bike. I was wondering if anyone knows if the locking gas cap from a buell firebolt or the buell lighting could work on the blast. I know the gas cap frame/ holder (sorry not sure what the exact name is) is not compatible but could I transfer the one from the other bikes to the buell?? I’m open to any ideas.

NO! the XB fuel tank gas cap will not fit your blast. that's the bad news. the good news is that the below factory part # is the locking cap for most tube frame buells and all blasts 2000-2010. dealer list is $70...comes with 2 keys...real quality piece.
factory part # is P0153.BA
several hundred still listed in dealer system.

Locking cap from a M2 will fit

If I'd known that when i had my Cyclone i would've got a blast cap, hate having to unlock the cap!

Yep, I hate the locking cap too. Was happy the cheap blast cap fit my M2.
