Looks like adding another buell to my stable

after Homecoming dinner we went to ukes and my Gf said .
You know that black Blast isn't that ugly.
Lets see what we can find.
Went to Gr harley and they had a 2001 used 4k miles with a 2k tag.
She sat on it and said wow i really can reach good on this.
I asked my sales man 2k out the door?
the manger comes out and has it wrote up knocking the bike back to cost 1700 +500 prep and paper work fee.
We decide no way and started looking at used ones.

Going to look at 2 tomorrow a 2001 Black low seat tall windscreen,new rear tire and saddle bags $1500 firm with 4300 miles

The other a 2007 2k miles $1600 light left side damage (scratched) tall seat all stock black.

I am leaning toward the 07 just because it is newer.
Is there anything i should be looking for other than the normal brake and tire wear ?

Make sure it shifts good in and out of every gear. They have a problem w/ the clutch(shifter fork???) needs to be adjusted frequently. Not a big deal, just like how the big bikes need primary chain adjustments alot. Happy trails and congrats on finding a chic that wants to ride.

ya look at the belt for dry rot , had mine for 8k and i abused it never had a problem aside from the belt brake and , and belt fall off it . it was great, also check the header for rot , as that was the only other problem the header broke from the weight of the muffler
