lost bolt in shifter

Thank you everyone. I listen to all of you. I lost a bolt in the shifter. So in preparing for this i put extra bolts under the seat. So thank you everyone. Think i will loctite the next bolt

A few guys lost theirs on the deals gap trip. Needless to say I came home and used locktite on all mine haha

I am a little nervous about using loctite. If i break the bolt off in the hole, its a pain in the behind to get thee broke threads out if its loctited in. Have heard a old trick about putting a piece of string in the hole first then screwing the bolt in,so i thought i might try dental floss.

Just use a heat gun and get it nice and hot before trying to remove the heat will break the bond

Blue locktite doesn't make a bolt that hard to remove..... RED locktite on the other hand will.....

Blue locktite is your friend....

Red locktite is your friend.............. Forever

/\ /\ Yep, blue locktite is basically anti-vibration. Red is like freaking super glue for metal.
