lost my license...

so I got a notice in the mail yesterday that my license is going starting on may 19th.. Theyre taking it for 6 months which kills all the summer riding I had planned.. Ive never gotten a ticket on a motorcycle (or pulled over for that matter). I really cant explain how pissed I am about this, what terrible timing. My bike will not sit all summer I will have to take it out every once in a while (just very carefully and slowwww). I am selling my car for some money for fines but there is no way I would sell my bike unless offered the right price.. I will be getting a restrictive license and Im not sure of the ins and outs of it yet but I will learn soon i suppose! Anybody ever have any bad luck with a scenario like mine?? Just had to vent i guess lol

Chances are the restriction will be to and from work only.
And do the cops have plate scanners where your at by chance?
If they do, I'd watch that once in a while ride.
You pop up on one of their scans and kiss your lic totally goodbye.

I lost mine after my first ticket, instead of putting me back on probation they yanked it. a bs ticket I should have fought, but I never thought it would've resulted in my license being taken away.

my suggestion is to not ride or drive without a license. a good buddy of mine lost his for like 3 years from getting caught driving without it. defiantly not worth it.

Heading from sussex out the backroads through PJ out to 209 in huegenot then down toward eldred and then back up towards 209 nothing special but a fun ride.

Taking liscense is the dumbest punishment IMO. community service sucks way more. It's just setting you up to get in even more trouble if u get caught driving w.o it, but u can't just stop going to school,work,store, recreational riding. My g.f has her taken away. she can only drive inbetween hours like 6am-11pm. And has to be "work related". if it were me, id do what everyone else does, keep it legal, check your blinkers, lights, tags, dont speed, and keep on riding. I got family members who taught me to drive and they havnt had a liscense in about 20 years and will never get it back. don't stop them, we gotta do what we gotta do.

They do the same shit here in washington. If you have outstanding un paid fines, they yank your state given privledges. Driver license, huntin/fishing permits, all the bells on whistles.


I got a letter in the mail a few years back saying if i got one more ticket in the next year my license was gunna get yanked for 3-6months. That was about the time that I started hiring lawyers. I still ride exactly the same, I just pay lawyers instead of our state
