make your own bar risers

would it be possible to buy a new set of oem bars and cut and weld a riser on it? I want to get some eventually for the long trips, but I dont want to spend 200+ dollars on them.

anyone have any ideas?

I made my risers, and cut off the stock Firebolt bar mounts.

Yea, what I want to do is make my own, like the ones on asb without spending 200 bucks. I would rather buy a **** load of pain killers. I want to know if anyone has made them for the firebolt and can tell me how they did it
