Anyone know how to use this to read the datalogs and understand it?
With Xopti no longer just wondered if anyone else knew how to use this.

make a log, open it in mlv, load your map choose vebins2 on both and run analysis..

yep.

need to verify the 02 is set on narrowband if logging with OEM sensor, be sure overrun filter is disabled, min CLT to whatever you desire.....depends on the temp your ECM is set to stop enrichments, etc. the more you do it, the better you get at it.

heres a good one for you..
my buddy on his xb9 has his tps setting at 0 .. not the recommended 5.* does this mess with anything? I figure you set it to 5.* for a reason otherwise it would say to get your idle and set to 0. He says it doesnt matter but I dont know.

IIRC, if its at 0 and still runs, hes done the reset incorrectly. at 0 the butterfly should be fully closed.

i wouldnt follow my TPS for most others because ive changed a lot of other parameters to make it start perfect every time, hot/cold, etc. my 8bit at idle is only 13.


but it does matter. it affects the cells from which the fueling at idle is pulled from.

on the overview screen at idle its at 0 in ecmspy.. not sure if its units/degree/voltage since I dont have ecmspy on my work comp and am newish to the program.

It does run ok but I kept telling him to reset his tps and he doesnt want to lol.

Hey Trill, i loaded up a log i did but i don't see anything that says vebins2 and run analysis.
Do i need a different MLV?

you need to save your maps and in MLV you need to hit the open MSQ button on the right and your maps will appear. there you will see this

the top one is what gets imported into the analyzer.

i usually will watch the timing on the bottom table.


either way, also be sure you DONT use the 'Default' analysis table in the analyzer. use either your own custom table, or afrBins1 or 2.

Could you please write a checklist or set of instructions to do this properly?

like options/field naming ecu set to buell or keep default.

and y axis field set to tps 8bit?

and is this the default analysis table you speak of?
