Just Got an email from a guy possably wanting to trade his 05 Black/Silver Busa w/7000 miles for my Bolt. Still have some time to think since I wont be home for another week.

I would trade for it, if it's clean it's worth more. They do drive pretty nice, not as cumbersome as one would think from the size. Of course the power is crazy but manageable. A ZX10 or R1 pull more abruptly from down low but if you crack it open at 5.5 hundred it is psycho fast. I never took one over 150 but I knew it had a lot left. Didn't want to risk my license

I think many people who have a Busa who want to trade just went too fast too many times and thought "What the **** am I doing"?

The bike has a full Yoshi exhaust system, power comander, and he says dyno sheets from having it tuned. He bought the bike with the intentions of having a street/track bike and realized its not for him. If he does go through with the trade I will point him in the direction. My decicion is not because I dont love my Buell its because I want to include my wife in what I do. The buell Platform is just too small for the 2 of us to sit on comfortably. I have considedred the Uly but Im just not sold on them......... I do enjoy the looks that I get on the Buell , but at the same time parts are running short for these bikes. If somthing breaks I want to be able to go get what I need or at least order it and know I will get it before my next birthday. If the trade goes through I will deff miss the thump and torque of the vtwin..........., but im willing to trade those aspects for somthing we can both enjoy.

Guys .....this isnt a done deal at all. Ive still got a week+ before I even get to go home. Everything at this point is purly talk. Ive been looking for a while and my points above are still valid for my case. But until someone makes me an offer that I cant refuse I will gladly ride my Buell.
