Hi to all Buellists, am in Norfolk England and been going on the forum for ideas and updates since I got my 09 XB9SX black frame etc with Hero Blue wheels and airbox/screen.
I saw a realy neat diy job on an all olive green bike, whereby he cut out the solid arm of his swing arm to match the belt side.
I have just bought a spare swing arm and now cannot find the link to his superb bike, which I believehe had for sale.
Can anybody assist? Also if there are any Buell riders in East of England would love to meet up/ride out or chat.

Are you talking about this bike

Thank You to all replies. It was Keppi's bike that I was admiring and somehow extremelow's was stuck in my mind. I know there has been traffic on differing swing arms during the XB's production and model runs, but having just purchased a swing arm alledgedly from an 09 XB9SX (my bike) it has an outer half shell, reinforced with webs, whereas Keppi's seems to be a solid ie boxed section, or has he just done that to compensate for the cut outs?
I have just also bought the Brembo 2pot hidden rear brake kit, so will have to factor that in when altering the swing arm.
Any experiences or thoughts always welcomed.

Yeah Keppi's bike is amazing, mine is just an Ss swing arm.

But his own personal bike has the cut-out not the green one.

this are very old pix from my daily ride :D

the swingarm-mod runs only with the pre year 2006 Models-Swingarm
after year 2006 here´s a good idea made by Rosti (RRC-Team Germany)

Been away on business, so sorry for late reply.
Thank You Keppi and Bobaganoosh, these will help when I find five minutes to scratch my arse and do the mod.
Did either of you box in at the back to compensate for metal removal, (ergo weakening) the swingarm?
Will obviously take photos as work progresses and post as soon as underway.

Thanks Bobaganoosh, will be marking and cutting my spare one soon. As soon as work not eating into my riding hours, it just got warm enough to ride happy in England!
