Mods for an 09' xb12r

Hey guys I just got myself a 09 xb12r firebolt and I am looking to change it up a bit. I was looking into at the jardine rt1 slip on exhaust. I was talking to a buddy and they said I would need a fuel optimizer as well. All of the searching I have done I can not seem to find one place that said "xxxxx" will work. Any suggestions or help would be great. I will also be changing the air filter. I figured K & N would be a safe bet.

i got race kit - pipe and ecu + 10k watt hid bulbs with mini ballasts , i use amsol syn oil , im about to put some custom led blinker race mirrors on , if you want some bad ass **** look at rear sets for xb12r
