What is the exhaust you long for at night in your dreams? [smirk]
What do you like and what would you change. As if you were going to develop your own.

1. Keda
2. Micron
3. Hawk
4. Spec Ops
5. D&D
6. Jardine
7. Drummer
8. Force
9. Any other exhaust you may have.

Dean Adams hands down

What are you planning!?!?!? :D

I've only had stock, stock with valve wired open, and completely gutted. Stock w/ valve open is the one I've liked best in both sound and performance.

I like my buell factory race exhaust. If I was going to buy a new one it would be one form Dean for sure.

I have a Latus and I think it's one of the best exhausts for the money. Try to find one now though.

I ordered deans after lusting for years and have been without a ride for 2 weeks and counting waiting for it to come. I had to sell my jardine and ecm. I hope its worth the wait.

@Matteson - I was in your exact boat (well minus race ecm) - you will not be disappointed going from Jardine to Keda.

I have only heard a total of four exhausts - stock, SpecOps, Jardine, and RT-XB1. The Jardine had a great thump at idle, but I didn't like the sound at speed. The stock exhaust is quiet as can be and of course a great performance match for a stock bike. The SpecOps was a great sounding exhaust - a little hollow maybe. Dean's RT-XB1 is by far the deepest and right on par (maybe just a bit louder - don't know for sure) as the SpecOps on sound level.

I've heard great things about the sound of the D&D, Hawk, Micron, etc...I don't think you can really go wrong - unless it's a Jardine :)

Ya mines on the 1125, the jardine sounded like a weed eater sometimes until I shortened it. I had a xopti tune with it and liked it. but have always lusted after the rt3 and ebr ecm. I hope it's better. I liked the Hawk on my xb though. But again, yearned for the rt1.

You forgot the Twin Motorcycle Torque Hammer II. ;) It performs well, is right in there price-wise for a high end stainless exhaust and comes with a free map for the 03-07 models. It's not the loudest on the market (good for some...not for others), includes a db killer to tone it down further if you chose and finally it includes chin spoiler brackets, all for the current shipped price of $635 in the Continental US from www.5-0dro.com . Sorry this may have come across as an ad, but I've personally been using this system and have really enjoyed it. :D.

I had good experience with the Drummer, especially when married up to the EBR ECM & K&N filter. Pulled noticeably harder than stock across the powerband, retained the stock jacking points, & filtered-out most of the annoyingly harsh Harley tones leaving a nice mellow growl.

I think dean's exhaust is pure weld porn. It's artful and has proven gains. I'd love one but can't afford it and my race pipe is doing me fine. The only other one I really lust after is the GB pipe.

Would like to try a Micron purely for dyno results on my new engine. But am very happy with my current D&D.

I run Drummers with K&N filters and stock ECM's on both my bikes. I love the sound, and they really opened up the low end of the bike over a stock exhaust. It also doesn't hurt that I now live about 30 minutes away from Kevin, so if there's every a problem I can just ride over to see him.

Do yourself a favor & try the EBR ECM with your Drummer. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I talked with Kevin about this quite a bit, asking if the ECM needed to be remapped at all. He said that it works fine with the stock ECM. I haven't noticed any issues with the Ulysses or Firebolt with this configuration, and there's no stumbling anywhere in the power range. Is it really worth the cost of an upgraded ECM when I can just tune the stock one using ECM Spy?
