MotoGP 2012 Indianapolis

So the MotoGP season is about to start, and it has me pretty pumped because me and a couple friends are going to make the trip on our bikes from the DC area to Indianapolis for the race 8/17, 18, 19. I also plan to ride up to East Troy and get my frame signed. Anyone in the area have plans to go to the race?

I'd love to make that trip!! I've got a few guys I ride with, maybe I can get some guys to fly up for the weekend. Too far for me to make the ride! I've never been to a live MotoGP event.

Yes there could be someone on here going! I have wanted to do a long ride like this thats why we are riding. My wife is going to be following in my truck towing a trailer just incase. It would awesome to meet a buellxb'er in person you should make the trip. This will be my first time seeing motogp live also.

I hope to get my bike on the track... They offer a one lap controlled ride on track for $10 with any reserved seat purchase.

Im going( partly for working for a Yamaha dealership, and the other part as a HUGE Ben Spies fan), still debating on hotel or camping. When I went to the F1 race there, I stayed at the holiday inn express on teh north side of town. super easy to get back to the track, and not a huge wait. As for me, im sitting in stand J...Best seats in the house by far as you get to watch 70% of the race from there.
