Muffler Inlet Size????

I've searched several places and can't find a definite answer. Can one of you guys let me know what size the inlet is on the muffler on my '08 12? My plans are to build a custom open header exhaust. I want to get everything I need first before I tear the bike down. Thanks for the help in advance.

Is that the actual header pipe size or the inlet of the muffler?

Header pipe is 2" o.d. I don't know if you have any ideas on what you you want for a finished product but I threw this together last Friday and I couldn't be happier.

Dude That looks wicked. What does it sound like? I'm not exactly sure which way I am going yet, but you difintly gave me some good ideas. What did you use for the canister?
