Actually thats just the plate I got but that does sound good..HAHA! I wouldn't mind switching my bike over like a complete Firebolt...I'm kickn myself for not buyn one now!I love the black and red 07's! Thanks for the complement[up]

how do you like your D&D exhaust. i just bought an 07 xb12r. but not sure what exhaust to go with. not to concerned about hp gains. but woul like something really loud, like a harley. do the barends really help. i know i cant see crap out of the stop mirrors. actually now that i think about it. i would like a little more low end torgue. bike is a bit hard to drive in stop and go traffic. anyway, welcome to the site.

Yea..I love the sound of it(deep and throaty) I dont know if the bar ends help or not never used the stock mirrors? I'm thinking of not even keeping them on it!

Yea thats what everybody is calling it now...hahaha I'm really diggin it...i love the way it turned out! Thanks for the comment.

With the limited number of posts he's put up and given how old this original thread is, don't figure he's around here anymore? [smirk]

buellfighter984... the 03 firebolt subframe will bolt up to the 09 lightnint fine. the whole tail will fit. you will need latch cable from the firebolt tail for it to work and you will need to allow for the current location of hte rear brake reseviour in the new undertail or relocate it lower. and obviously need to fiddle and fit everything under the seat area. remember that the firebolt has all its electric up front and the lightning has it under the seat. you may want to look at relocating the rear shock cylinder to the firebolt location.

hope this helps.
