so i went on a road trip to my grandmas this weekend...it was a crazy first 10 minutes. my clutch lever FELL off while merging onto the freeway and i caught it before it hit the ground and lost the bolt holding it in place. so i got it parked somehow without being able to use my lever. i was about to try and find a way back to base so i could fix it. i had a small s-biner clip i was going to bend into place and then i found a unstamped rivet, anyone that knows about rivets knows how weird it is to find something like that and laying on the ground right next to my bike! the only time i rode without my leatherman i needed one, THEN a guy pulled right next to me in a landscaping truck and he had one on him. i got it and bent the rivet to hold my clutch in place until i could ride a couple miles to home depot. i got it fixed and it was just a crazy way to start the trip. i figured you guys might have had some crazy stories about road trip accidents so lets see share and see peoples crazy stories, what do you guys have to share!? i'm adding pictures so you guys can see what i'm talking about. just an insane sequence of events lol.
