08 XB12sTT (Orange/Black) - Too heavy for the City traffic
03 XB9sL (Yellow/Black) - Too Low and nice sale price offer
05 XB12S (Red/Silver) - Too many miles (19k miles)
05 XB9R (Yellow/Black) - Do not like Yellow color fairings
07 XB12R (Black/Red) - Do not like the engine and primary color
09 XB12R (White/Blue) - Tired to lean to much
09 XB12R (Black/Blue) - Nice sale price offer
09 XB12sS (Black/Red) - I like but still heavy for the City traffic and nice sale price offer
09 XB12R (Red/Black0 - I trade for my Fatboy
09 XB9Sx (Red/Black) - I like it so far ! No plans for selling !

I have made a lot of upgrades to each one of those and all the buyers become my friends!!

Looks great. Best mod I've done to mine yet. Great sound and a definite increase in torque through the entire rev range.

it also helps that I'm a bit biased having the exact same bike

you could have kept the 9sl, swapped out the suspension and been fine, replaced the yellow plastics and been perfect...7+yrs city and freeway riding between San Diego and LA...

19k miles on the 05, HA...my 9sl started with 2500 miles when I brought her home...currently 64k+

Looks good and congratulations. Thanks for the pics. I have same bike and was curious what it would look like with the extra stuff on the back removed.

Recomen to buy an extra part for your modifications, and keep the sock parts just in case need to put it back

Definitely the way to go. I still have all my stock parts in a box in the garage. I have the same bike minus the open belt and these bikes really look great with all the back cleaned up including the passenger pegs. Really finishes it off.
