Well I was putting on my new head gaskets and I was tightening down the screws to the cylinder base studs. on the front one of the screws broke off around the stud and on the rear one of the studs snapped off within the screw. Neither were even close to factory torque specs.

Ouch, that seriously sucks. Good luck with that, busted bolts suck. I had to EDM out a busted header bolt over the winter.
 
I'm sure, the bolts weren't even all the way tightened down, at the moment I'm sort of purplexed about the whole thing.
 
If there is still thread left you can try to putting two nuts on it and try backing the stud out. I was able to do it that way on my dads Harley
 
there wasn't enough space for two nuts, I wound up buying a stud remover from harbor freight. I didn't update this thread, I started a different one with the answer. other
