Unfortunately I was going against my rule of ATGATT.  I had jeans and a sweatshirt, no gloves.  As far as things to do different, I looked and saw the lady looking at what I thought was me but obviously not.  I did all I could.  There is not much else I could change.  After my accident the state DOT got a grant to change the intersection because tons of accidents happen in the same spot.
