Here are a few pics of my bike after a few changes.
I have a small problem with the headlight almost burning the paint on the mask, any ideas how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.
I am very happy with how it has turned out, just need to get the mirrors and bar ends to complete the job. Maybe a carbon undertray? It started out with just a couple of changes and has not stopped and probably won't stop now

Maybe use some heat shielding on the underside of mask. I use this stuff on the underside of the airbox and on the inside of the frame. Supposedly good up to 2000 degrees. Not sure how low profile it would be for the application though; Love the clean look of your set up.

Thanks for the comments. I will look into the heat shield.
The flyscreen/mask came from Showyomoto in Canada, not the cheapest but good quality and quite a few different styles to choose from.

What did you paint the mask with? Maybe you could use some hi-temp engine paint on it that would stand up to the heat better.

As upthemaden says, high temp paint.

I've only seen it in flat black but they have it for grills up to 500 deg. And header paint up to like 1200 I think whatever they r it's plenty hotter than a light can get

Very nice bike, cool looks, love it! Don't see many more mods that you can do without ruining it, maybe I'm wrong though! We'll wait and see!
Q: You chopped the belt protectors, or is this some aftermarket kit?

Thanks for the comments. I don't think I will change any of the paint for the heat resistant now, too late for that.
Jezuz, yes I live in the UK. I had the Ilmberger carbon belt/pulley cover cut open and cleaned and painted the pulley behind. I wanted to get the forks anodised but they couldn't strip them enough so I had them painted. Overall they came out well and they match the paint on the engine covers.
The Aston is mine, almost as much fun as the Buell albeit a more fuel to put in it!

Haha, I never thought that an Aston owner would really care about gas money, guess I was wrong!!!
A V8 Vantage is my dream car, guess
I'll never drive one, way too expensive and exclusive over here, 'cause it's not just buying one, taxes and running costs are overkill here.

Yes agree about the exhaust, it's on the list to do. Got to look into the best way to get it clean and what it is made from. It's a micron full system but the headers have tarnished quite bad.
