Just picked up my '06 Uly on Friday. Came with bags and top case (new in the box!) I put the brackets and side cases on yesterday. Gotta find a lower seat (I'll trade for a clean low seat if anyone wants). I can't wait to take it on a trip. Can you believe it's 2006 and only 1100 miles?

Thanks! I changed the oils, checked the primary chain tension, and hit the road! I had to order the 565 thread sealant. The Harley dealer didn't even have it. I put Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w50 in the primary, but I put Genuine HD 20w50 in the swingarm oil tank because I want to put a few more miles on the engine before going synthetic.

How many miles on a Buell engine before switching to synthetic?

Got my Laminar Lip today via UPS. Now it's got 1,525 miles.

you'll read all sorts of mileage before switching. 3-4k seem common

Go ahead and switch now. Dyno oil is best for break in which happens on the first ride really. I run dyno oil the first service interval then switch to synthetic.
