How high do you get doing that? Looks like a ton of fun, almost as much as skydiving.[up]

Thanks for the comments guys, it really is a fantastic sport.
If any one is interested you can check out the US Association web site -http://www.ushpa.aero.

It is a pretty simple to learn to fly, all it needs is commitment and some cash. Although it can be a very inexpensive hobby. From the friends I have here in NZ it seems motorcycles and hang gliding go well together.

Thanks

is that you throughout the whole vid? the guy on the hang glider looks to have no legs....maybe that is just the lens making that effect...

It's crazy to think that the only thing holding you up thousands of feet high is that one little strap. I'd love to get into hang gliding. I will someday. I need a truck first to carry it though.

Yes it is. and yes the camera is a wide lens and has that effect. I assure you I have both my legs. How else would I ride my lovely Buell xb12r.

You actually get used to it...tho when the air gets rough and you hit bumps in the air at 10 000 ft......I sometimes think "Hmm did I check my strap and carabiner" then I look at my parachute handle and feel safer.
Most of the time you are too busy flying to worry about it tho.

DUDE! SICK! That looks like an absolute BLAST (no buell puns intended) Great job on the video too. Thanks for sharing!!!

I was also wondering that about the legs, until I got to the end of the video and saw them pop out. I had to watch the end 2 or 3 times just to make sure I saw what I thought I saw, haha.

In the US airspace below 18k is uncontrolled airspace with the exception of certain areas over some cities, airports and of course Disney!
Out west gliders reguarly get over 18k.

Hey 08supermotor, How do u like driving a supermoto and what do u have? I have been thinking about build or buying. They look like a lot of fun but im not big on the dirt bike look :(.

Bedaring it's a 510 smr husqvarna ,it comes that way it's not a conversion

And as far as for riding it ,u can't compare it to anything else my first day I brought it home I did a triple with it on a local track that I rode to
