Guys, here are some pics of what i have done with my seat, some chopping, some sanding, and some painting, stills need the paint to be "flattened" out some, but you get the drift:

Not to mention that the hard edge digging into my cheeks would make a long ride not good for blood flow.
Personally, I'm more likely to go the Lightning® Long Sport Seat. Or the seat mod dude that guts and refills seats for more comfort.

Im gunna go the hack on hand "flatening" the paint tonight, grey scotch with soapy water will fix it

Took me about 2 days to do the cut and shut work, mainly drying time, then dropped it ot a mate to be painted

Couldn't get it flat enough and looking good by hand, so it has been send back for paint, ill have it back in 24 hours and ill have new pics!

I cant tell if i like it or not. Id have to do a 360 in person. It almost looks like the solo seat conversion on my old 94 cbr600.

Nice work at least [up]

Will be another 24 hours guys, 2 pak is hard, very hard to get as flat as i want it

Cheers Simon

Just a good old copping saw with a fine blade

Just mask up your lines you want and be careful and take your time

Matt

Pockets, no not base/clear, a 2 part paint that is the base with hardener, designed for fibleglass etc, very very tough

Got the paint sorted, and did it get sorted, its damn perfect, and what a difference it made:
