Nearly 25,000 miles

I am near the 25,000 mile mark on my 09 XB12R. I have had ZERO problems or unscheduled maintenance with it and I cannot say that about my other three bikes which two are Japanese and one British. My Buell is my favorite bike I have owned and next month I have a three day road trip planned in SOCAL. Maybe I will see one of you guys out there!

Thats a pretty good testimony. I would suggest buying a new clutch cable and have it ready. Mine was almost frayed apart at 28,000. That and one headlight element are the only problems I have had. 35,000 miles now and still going strong.

A new clutch cable is a really good idea! Mine broke on me on my way home last weekend. I got lucky that it held together by two little wires an got me home. I just hit 27,000 miles. a visual inspection of the belt would be smart as well.
