I'm assuming I just need the fueling tables? Anything else to make it run better?

I have a K&N, breather reroute, and partially gutted XB9 exhaust. The picture is below.

Can you guys send maps that you think will work to my email? [email protected]

You guys rock, thanks.

It's a 12, not a 9. I have that listed in the title, but the post never mentions it.

I don't see much for 08's, but thank you. I should be able to get going from there by comparing different tables. I'll compare a previous year's race ecm, extend the tables to match up with my 08, then probably make my own that's halfway between the two to start.

Can anyone mail me a .bin file to play with? Doesn't matter the year, I just want something to play with while at work.

Just open the .epr file with TunerPro. It opens directly. You can take any of the EEPROMS available through this site. Only the .txt files don't read true.

The only .epr file I was able to find was for a 2000 X1 from https://sites.google.com/site/ecmspy/home. Everything else is just fueling tables that obviously won't load.

It's a start though, gives me something to practice with while at work. I'll just pull my .epr from my 2008 XB12 when I get home.

[email protected], up in the top post =)

X1 map doesn't really help me without the other file for those eeproms. So, I was just reading up and waiting until I get home.

(probably not a good idea to mess with tuning at work and get stranded)

Looks like I'm stuck with a BUEOD ecm. I can't find the xdf for this file, so I'm stuck using ecmspy the old school way. It looks like it's 16 x 16 tables instead of 12 x 13 tables though. I can't find a race ecm for the 16 x 16 tables.

So, using ecmspy:
1)Read stock ecm, save stock ecm
2)Read the 06' race table I found as "read ecm". Saved it
3)Compared the 2 saved files, found the fuel and timing sections
4) Added blank rows/columns in the race file where they belong so it's a 16 x 16 table.
5) Filled in these gaps by averaging the two next to it and making it linear (ex: new 25% TPS is a value between the 20% and 30%)
6) Copied these tables to the stock ecm (saved as a new named in case of problems)
7) Loaded the eeprom image into ecmspy then burned the maps only

How's that sound? I didn't run the bike yet, wasn't feeling well so I took the car today. I'll send my file to our archives guy so other people don't have to deal with this mess later

Oh, also smoothed out any extreme timing changes. The race map goes from 10 to 25 in some spots. Too extreme for my tastes. I used 16 for those. I may add later, but not all at once.
