Hey all, doin' some work here and don't seem to have the right tool. Can someone tell me the size of the hex key I need to loosen the axle pinch bolt. The biggest I have is 3/8 in. or 8 mm. I know it's metric, just don't know how big.

Thanks, Tony

Fasteners on Buells are Standard. But 6mm & 10mm are generally interchangeable with 1/4 & 3/8 - use whichever you have.

On the XBs they are. On the 1125, most of the fasteners are metric. Only a handful of the fasteners -- passenger pegs, front caliper, and a few others -- are SAE.

Using 1/4 and 3/8ths drive for the front and rear axle bolts will either not fit, or promote wear of the tool or fasteners.

The front pinch bolts are M8, and the rear M12.
