Need help trouble shooting injector problem.

Ok, So I've been neglecting my girl for too long I guess, The other day I went out to start her up and the battery was dead, I got a jump box and tried jumping it. It fired up but spit and sputtered and died multiple times... I think it's not getting gas because i can keep it running with Carb cleaner, I was wondering what the standard trouble shooting procedure was for the injectors? Do our bikes have a fuel filter and where? Or could it be an IAC? My bike is an '08 12r. Thanks in advance.

The manual has helpful troubleshooting guides with nice flowcharts. Id check the obvious first like battery voltage and check to see if you have fouled plugs. Any trouble codes?

I haven't checked for trouble codes yet, I just saved the website that tells you what they all are. I was gonna charge the battery up fully and check it out then, but it was pretty rough, and like I said, It ran when I sprayed carb cleaner down the intake, but as soon as i stopped it bogged down and died. but then it would fire up again for 3 seconds, and if I didn't spray carb cleaner in the intake, it would die.
