The little "lip" on the "in" to my oil cooler line is worn down so it is no longer staying plugged in under pressure. I replaced the snap ring or whatever its called but the lip it grabs on to is worn down in three little notches, right where the pin touches it.

Anyone have part numbers for the oil cooler lines for a 2008 xb12?

Are there aftermarket solutions?

Thanks!

PS - I realized I was spewing oil all over the place like a severed corotid artery because trying to accelerate on the highway to pass a car caused me to fishtail. Scary. Glad I noticed before I hit a turn!

Looks like this

Hopefully you didn't lose that much oil and hurt the motor. Did your engine light come on ? I have an 07 bike don't know if part # is the same.

Nevermind, called dealer, they gave me part numbers. HS0009.1AK and HS0008.1AK for feed and return lines. There is confusion in their system as to which one is for which line though. One system says 09 is the return, another says 09 is the feed.
