Screw up my 1125r headlight covers while trying to use spray tint to smoke them Apparently theres some gel or antifog substance on theinside and when i sprayed the tint on it they had a chemical reaction. Where can i get new covers smoked if they make em but just oem would be nice too

post a pic of the damage. Maybe someone will have a solution for you if it isn't too bad.

I thought that spray tint shit was supposed to go on the outside because most headlights are sealed...?

yea for future reference for any othe potential retards like myself spray tint does go on the outside ( i know this now lol) My thought process was not wanting the tint to chip from rocks and bugs etc.
I'll post a pic today but i think they are toast

I will never use that spray tint again I tried to spray a old windscreen and it had a weird reaction it it had a bunch of lines in it that looked like it was cracked.

yea same exact thing happened to me. Thats why i was using paint thinner to get it off and it destroyed my headlights.

Doosh Do you know if that kit is for both headlights ? And what exactly is different about it from stock

It's for both headlights.

The reason paint thinner and acetone messed everything up is they both melt polycarbonate plastics. Denatured alcohol is the strongest solvent you can really safely use on those plastic bits.
