I'm thinking about selling a few of my motorcycles and getting into other hobbies. I've listed one and debating about another. I have a 2004 XB12S with about 3000 miles or so and it's 100% stock. (original miles). Newer tires, black plastics with gold tires and accents, always maintained, stored in heated/cooled shop always covered, etc.

The first owner dumped it and put a dent in the tank where the pads usually are and Harley did the fix but fixed the tank so the bike has a prior salvage title. The bike is in excellent shape, I've debated never selling it even. But recently, I never ride the road bike and am looking to buy other toys, my question is, what kind of price can I expect to get out of this bike? Just looks like a lot of Buell's for sale recently and not a lot of buyers. Thanks for your input!

"Newer tires" with 3000 miles on the bike, what is the mfg date code on them? more than 5 years and I'd replace them regardless of tread depth.

IMHO, the ultra low miles (230/year!!) mean all the rubber has dried up, lots and lots and lots of dry/cold starts, bearings are pitted, and in bad need tons of service before it's ready to be a dependable ride..
The most common color combo and especially the salvage title, kills re-sale to the point I'd just ride it as often as possible and enjoy it!

They are hardy bikes and a ton of fun, go see how much fun they are:)

No listing, haven't put it up for sale or anything, just curious what everyone's seen with recent trends as I just see lots of bikes for sale and prices dipping a bit in my opinion. Just curious.

Tires are good, I had replaced last summer I believe it was or the fall before with new tires. I'll have to check my log, they're new, I just didn't want to say brand new as I've put a few miles on them.
