How much engine noise is normal. I used to think a little was normal but now.....sometimes when I cruise I think I hear too much. I just feel I hear the cylinders too much.

I wish I was that tech savvy. I dont know...its almost sounds like loose parts. I'm not as mechanical as others on here so i dont know it what im hearing is normal. I just feel like i hear knocking. I check the oil and fluids and there all good...and it runs great.

all i can say is that buell does make more mechanical music than any other bike, but that's normal.

maybe you could compare it with some other buell riders in your area?

My Buell sounds like the pistons are scraping the walls without oil, but I think thats normal. I was wondering the same thing about the noise also.
