Well had these sitting around for over a year now and was going to post them to sell them since I havent done anything, but thought about my extra set of headlights I have from my Mock-up bike so I did a little cutting on the headlight assembly and made these mount up and still retained the headlight adjustment screws so it is almost a straight stock replacement.

Also hook the angel eye part to a switch so I can turn them on or off even with the bike off.

Finished then some others......Enjoy

I got them off ebay about a year and a half ago for $60 or so. They are glass lenses with steel housings pretty damn good quality, they are just car fog lights that I decided to make my headlights.

That's badass!!

$60 is cheap!!!

I'll have to do some searching for a pair. I like the idea of running it's own switch, that way you can run them when you're at a car/bike night and be all gangster.

That looks bad ass. I think I may have to invest in a set myself. I was actually getting kind of jelous of the lightening bunch for being able to do them. Now we can have our cake and eat it too.:p

Yeah I am very happy with the outcome. now I need to make a headlight kill switch so I can cruise with just the halo lights on.

I agree it does look like the robot a little, but none the less it just happened to be the same size as the stock headlights and was easy to do.

I will have to take a couple day time shots, during the day it isn't even noticable just has that custom touch, but at low light it looks sweet.

Um, how well do the fog lights work as head lights at night? Are they for show only or do they function well?

they worked fine, wired them up so they were both on all the time.

They are between the brightness of highs and lows.

I have since sold these and mounted the stockers back up, just prefer the cleaner look, kinda got sick of the Angel eye look.

I would think the fog light would have a poor cutoff beam to be used as a low beam. In that it would blind oncoming traffic unless you aimed it really low. I personally don't like angel eyes but def good work with the idea.

Correct Johnny 5, just aim the lights out where ever you wish and your set.

When I made this set up I had an extra headlight mounting unit so I cutu it up so the foglights had the same adjustability as the stock lights as far as up/down and left/right.
