new blank ecm

If I bought a brand new blank ecm (y0152.3a8a 10308) would I be able to just add files from ecmspy, to make this work, Or would it have to be programmed from dealer, or idspd. Thanks asking for another friends, friend

Mike: It's a crap shoot. Sometimes the below works perfectly and sometimes it's a trip to the dealer who can still provide the service with their firmware and your VIN.......or IDS.

Correct part # for 2006 XB12 ECM as new is YO152.3A8---------I'm not showing an "A" suffix

BUEIB310 IS STOCK FIRMWARE----------BUEGB231 IS RACE FIRMWARE

The ECM will have to have a firmware version on it already to be able to utilize ecmspy or ecmdroid. Who knows if it does?

If it does not, then its a trip to the dealer for you. The dealers upload includes the firmware and the fuel map and will be useable immediately.
