Hey guys. So I'm finally posting pics of my new bike.

Sold my 2003 xb9r 2 years ago and kicked myself every day since...well finally I got my hands on another one.
2009 CityX
1613 miles
$4900
Only mods are a battery tender quick connect and some blue LED strips under the frame to light up the motor. Drove down to Jersey a couple weekends ago to pick it up. Bought it off a Jersey cop who posted on Cycle Trader. He was the original buyer and just hasn't had time to ride with his work schedule, which was cool because I got all the original paperwork and the factory Buell manual (I liked the write up on the 2010 Blast). It's my first personal bike that I have the paper trail back to new.
I have to figure out what I want to do with this bike as far as add ons. My '03 had the Jardine can on it which I loved the sound of but I have to try something new with this bike. I have to get it running first. Got it home and it was only firing on one cylinder, those details are in my other post.

Personally I'm not a fan of the LED's but he did a really clean job so I wont get rid of them until I replace the cheese grater.

I'll be posting more pictures as the mods happen and when I can get it detailed up. It had saw dust on it from sitting in his garage and there's snow on the ground where I live.

So anxious to get it out on the road! Good to be back...

I was just browsing the internet during lunch when I found it. I really wanted a 12 but I couldn't pass it up for the price and miles. Guess I'm lucky he didn't post it on here :D

Lovely looking bike!
I have an 09 Hero Blue XB9SX (Euro spec) Too (am in UK) also with Hero blue wheels & translucids and black frame.
Love the LEDS, Unfortunately in the UK, we would get 'nicked' for having blue lights on a vehicle (unless it was an emergency services vehicle)

awesome congrats. hero blue and black is almost as fast as barricade orange and grey:p:
great looking bike . drummer ss pipe might be worth a look

Love the bike. Will like it even more once its back together.

Love that exhaust d. Just need to save up some money first before I can but a real setup.

I can't think of a time I would ever want them on...I feel like they belong on a stretched busa with chrome pieces everywhere..but thats just me.

He wired them into the brake light so they can't be left on unless the bike is on.

Funny thing was he is a cop..

Careful with those blue LED's, only police are authorized to run them while in motion.

this past summer i rode up to my towns fair they have every year with my LED's turned on, (they are blue) and as i pulled up two cops were walking down the street, one said nice bike as i was getting off, and the other said he liked the lights...... I thought they were illegal as well, but either they weren't, or the cops i ran into just didn't care

Yup, some cops jus don't care. Plus anything that slows our bikes down, allows cops to catch us faster!
