Ok, so after much humming and harrirng, riding the Buell XB 12Ss back to back [Twice] with the triumph speed triple, today I have ordered a 2008 Lightning XB12ss in Cherry Bomb.
My question is this:
I come from a back ground of liter plus Jap bikes including a 2003 R1, Fireblade etc.
After I sold my 2003 R1 I bought a 2003 Cagiva Raptor, powered by the Suzuki TL1000 Vtwin 1000 engine as I wanted something more "relaxed" in its riding position but with good sporting characteristics [I used to race years ago and still enjoy corners far more the straight sections of road]
The Raptor has 108Hp at the rear wheel.
I have always liked the Buells, but untill 6 months ago there was never a dealer in my City.
My Raptor was my first V twin and I got hooked on V twin power after many many years of 4 cylinder power.
I'm over the top end rush, 150 mph speeds.
What I was wondering is if any body actually regreted buying a Buell when they are faced with the reality of dropping 30hp from their previous bike or have they found the power wanting?
