new exhaust question

so im getting my drummer in a few days. i have done alot of megalogging on my bike with a hawk exhaust.

when i get the drummer do i have to start tuning all over again? or can i just put it on and run with the already tuned maps.

Optimally your gonna want to retune again, as the internals between both mufflers are pretty different (Hawk having baffles, the Drummer having none).

If you check out the official Drummer site:http://www.kdfab.com/drummeroriginal.htm he states that the pre-programmed ECM will really make it come alive. Before I put my Drummer on, I emailed them to ask if I needed the ECM to go with it and they replied saying how they've run several of there own personal bikes without any special tuning and have had no problems. I went ahead and installed the Drummer and the only thing I noticed was decel popping. After a month or so I installed the EBR ECM and did notice some hp gain and no more decel popping

ya i talked to kevin hes going to send me some tuned maps and he wants to tune some extra for him also. il start all over again and do some new tuning.

Snap a pick of your Drummer please. Kevin says he doesn't use the billet aluminum end caps anymore, said they are now stainless. I'm not sure if they still screw/rivet them on, or weld them now and haven't seen a pic of the new style.

ohh ya i spoke with him this morning. there stainless and he welds them he said. ill get alot of pictures for you guys. and im getting the new core in it also which is supposed to run cooler. cant wait
