Picked up a Shark RSI Alien today on sale. Lower than I could find on line including shipping.
$200 OTD.
Got tired of the whistling of my AGV modular.
And the face shields are so much easier to switch out too.
:D

Have to wait until I get the last two stitches out before I can ride and test though.:(

Thats a nice looking helmet. I went with the scorpion exo1000 over the shark but it was a hard decision.

I went with what was comfortable and I could get my glasses into. Can't wear contacts.

I went with the Scorpion EXO700 over the Shark also, but it was a hard decision for me too. I may still get the Shark. Let us know what you think.

Will do. Can wait to get the last stitches out. Then I can ride again and test the Shark.

I have a Shark RSX, grabbed a 1-2 year old floor model for $180. Amazing helmet. Perfect build quality and very quiet.

My only qualms have been visor related. Because they're awesomely thick, replacements are like $60. Other than that, their tension system doesn't move in clicks, it's smooth and resistance related. This is also amazing, but the little tension adjuster moves with the visor a little, so sometimes it falls into the groove and blocks the visor from fully opening. Nothing major, but gets annoying when it happens. It's hard to feel it and move it back with gloves on.

Here's a pic. See the little comma/teardrop shaped thing on the track? If you try to open the visor in this position, it'll hit and stop it half way. It's turned out perpendicular to the track for use, but constantly moving the visor eventually moves it back to this position.

Yours doesn't have that though, not that it was ever that big of a deal anyway. I'd totally buy another.

@ Paniller, The RSI has step stops for holding the face shield up. Pretty cool. And no-tool shield removal as well.
paddle "switches" for the vents in the front and on top.

If I had Dumbo ears the full coverage cheek/ear padding might bother me. But i don't. Should keep things pretty quiet without shoving ear plugs in.
Still have to be careful putting my glasses on. Can't do contacts. At least not without taking out a second mortgage. bi-focal and astigmatism.

Finally got to ride with the Shark.
Much quieter than my AGV modular helmet. ode up to 75MPH. Wind noise is very low. Increases slightly if I lift my chin, but that is not how I normally ride anyway.
