Just found this pipe.Was wondering what yall think.

I think that is just down right ugly. I would never put that on my bike. Buell is the way they are for a reason don't change it.

don't understand why they place another heatsource next to the oiltank...

if you drop & slide on the left, it will protect your oiltank, though

Maybe it helps to retain the fiberglass packing and reduce heat. i know that mine needs repacking often and got hot enough to melt the sticker off.

Well now that i got all of your thoughts.I am goin to get this one.I will no that there wont be a buell that looks like mine.I like it because its mean lookin.Its different and it keeps the noise out of your helmet.

i would dubbelcheck if that pipe has enough ground clearance when taking a lh corner, on the first picture it doesn't seem that way. [smirk]

I think you should run pipes to both sides to make it symmetrical.

It looks too much like an after thought. All they did is weld a pipe on the end of a standard model. At least they could have made a new muffler body or something.

It doesnt look like the pipe is secured to anything either...and quite close to the oil tank. What are the chances of it slapping the side of the oil tank while you ride or taking bumps? Maybe people will think you have a Ducati because of the clinking sound [smirk]

plus, the jardine already has a weakspot for vibrations. i'm guessing but i think this long pipe will not be an improvement for that issue.

WZB please post how loud it is while you ride, I'm talking cruzing at 70+ or so. My Jardine really get to me 70 and up. If I'm going for a long cruse I'll wear some sort of hearing protection.

Well i bluffed i bought the standard jardine pipe.

The thing that attracted me to the buell was having the pipe underneath the bike. I think it gives them a cleaner look. That thing, like others said, defeats the purpose.

Well when i ordered mine pipe i asked jardine if they can start making the other pipe in black.They told me that they have had alot of people ask them that and it might be in the making.
