Installed my d&d last night, sounds awesome and the bike runs great with it, putting the pipe on was the easy part, but getting the holes for the chin cowl to line up was a nightmare! I ended up drilling out the holes on the d&d so they would line up much better to the cowl and just used some different fasteners with nuts on the inside, looks better anyway because the new bolts are black. Used my dremel to chop the fender, re-used the license plate mount & light then fabricated tiny little L-shaped brackets which mount with the plate bolts and hold the blinkers in a way that the stalk is hidden behind the plate. Did a little cussing but it looks good in the end.....

hey Lintoncr, looks great. Can you post some close-up picks of the tail mod? Thanks

Looks good man, I had to do the same thing with my Latus pipe, as the holes didn't quite line up correctly. At first I used tie straps to secure the front two mount points.

Here are a few close-ups, I sanded down the tail piece after I got it cut the way I wanted, then painted it with black Krylon "Hammer" finish, I am happy with it, and was much cheaper than buying an expensive tailpiece!

lintoncr, it looks like you have an 09? I have the same one in red. I took my rear fender and chain guards off and am going to buy the d & d. How does it sound? Any chance you can post to youtube?

Saw the same thing at Nicholasville Mall here in KY a while back. It's Ashley Judd in a UK jersey. Still got a crick in my neck from staring at it. ;)[up]

Haha, yeah that's UK alum Ashley Judd sportin their hockey jersey.

Pitts, the pipe sounds mean man! I love it, may be too loud for some, but I love the sound it makes, definitely fits the personality of the bike. No complaints from me. I will look at posting to youtube, never done that before, but you might want to do a search, maybe someone already posted what you're lookin for?
