Just got my Sharkshinz fairing kit from Hals for a killer price. So Im going to be doing some mods to the fairings before I paint them. I have the Carbon fiber right and left air intakes, but want to keep them, for the looks,price I paid, and the cooling so I will be doing some work to make the functional. I am also planing on some other mods to the kit. One I can get some pics, I will post them and will also share my ideas on the paint scheme.

Here are the pics of my new project. You can see where I going to cut and make a air inlet to use the carbon fiber air scoops. the black part will be recessed. Im thinking of naming it Warpig or Warfighter. The last pic is of the paint theme Im going with the Army Tan.

Just my opinion but flat drab green might look cool with gold rims. Hard to picture though. Are you planing on painting the rims black like the bike in the pic or staying gold? Ferings do look good will watch your progress to see how it comes together.Good luck with build

Through some paint on the fairings real fast. Still need to make scoops and mold them in the fairings to make the air intakes functional. And yes the wheels will be powdercoated satin black. So the only colors on the bike will be tan,black and a few carbon parts. But since its spring I dont plan to do the wheels and paint it till winter. I will be riding it with the factory black plastics till its done. Thanks
